GEMMA T. LESLIE
"Ca-ther..."
His voice was singsong-y. Even being so tired, Cath couldn't help but smile at the fact that Levi was waking her up during the summer break. Still, she groaned.
As usual, he ignored her and scooted by her side in bed. He was annoyingly happy for such a wee hour. However, there was nothing she could do: he always made her fall for him again.
He saw she was enough conscious to hear what he had to say. She hated how he could read through her so easily. By that time, though, she was also enough curious to know what had him in such a hyper. He was handing her glasses with a huge grin:
"Have you checked the internet today?"
"Levi, I wasn't even in 'today' yet."
"Maybe you had magic powers to this kind of things…"
He was extra bouncy and she found it better to sit up straight and adjust her glasses on her face. He was holding her laptop and waiting for her to sit all the way up.
"What's up with you today?"
He kissed her cheek:
"I won at rock-paper-scissors and I could be the one to tell you. Wren is not happy about it…"
She took the computer and stretched her arms above her head while it loaded.
"You're getting me nervous!"
His eyes widened and his voice became more serious:
"You should be. It's better that me telling you 'I love you'."
"Aw! This is all about you wanting to start the day with me saying how much I adore you?"
He cupped her face with his hands and pecked her lips, but his eagerness was still there:
"You'll freak out when you see it. I'm wondering if it's worth filming even if you'll hate me."
"Don't you dare!"
He was laughing and holding his hands out in a defeated position. She smiled with the corner of her lips: he got her. Cath cleared her throat:
"What am I looking for?"
"I thought it would pop out at your face when you got online… Anyway, open Twitter."
She typed the address and the first thing she noticed was that all the user photos in the most recent tweets were either of Simon or Baz. Something big must had happened in the fandom.
She scrolled the page down a little and her eyes stopped when they saw Wren's profile picture. She was quoting a tweet. Not just a tweet. Wren was quoting a tweet by Gemma T. Leslie. The GTL. The queen herself.
Levi whined by her side:
"Damn! Wren beat me to it anyway."
Cath should answer. She should tease him about the internet; joke about twins' telepathy or something. But it couldn't be there. It was a dream. Dream!Levi could forgive her for ignoring him.
But it wasn't a dream. And real-life!Levi sounded worried:
"Cath! Cather! Say something! At least move, please!"
She found out how to talk in her trance:
"She knows my name…"
"Well, you aren't exactly named Magicath."
She snapped at him:
"It's Gemma. T. Leslie. She can call me whatever she wants. Specially if it's to thank me for writing my fic."
Levi laughed and passed his arms around her:
"I knew it was worth being the one to tell you!"
"I told you Carry On was important."
He smiled even more sincerely (if that was even possible):
"I always knew."
