Hear You Scream
An X-Files/ Alien Crossover
Hey Guys! Here is my first foray into the world of crossovers! I have a few others in the pipeline. I LOVE Alien and Ripley so I thought why not combine it with the X-files? :) It's a bit AU. Set after Alien, but before Ripley goes into cryo-sleep. Anyway, enjoy and let me know if you want more!
"What the hell is it?"
"I think it's some sort of wormhole. A vortex maybe…"
Peering into the swirling shape, Mulder reached out a hand to touch it.
"Mulder no!" Scully yelled and grabbed his arm, just as his fingers were inches from touching the cloud. "You don't know what could happen to you!"
"You're right Scully." Mulder stood upright and retreated to his desk.
He picked up his basketball and walked back towards the vortex.
"Catch!" He called and threw the ball straight into the shimmering hole.
The ball disappeared with a zapping sound and Mulder smiled.
"Wow, that was cool!"
Suddenly, with a loud crackle, a woman burst from the cloud. She was dressed in a grey boiler suit and had curly brown hair.
She was carrying what looked like a large, glass, space-age pet carrier in one hand and the basketball in another.
"What year is this?" She asked, looking at the two of them. "This is Earth, right?"
Mulder and Scully nodded incredulously, the tall woman staring around as though she had never been inside a room before.
"We need some help. My ship, it's been invaded, attacked. All the crew are dead."
"Who are you?" Mulder asked.
"Lieutenant Ellen Ripley. Warrant Officer of the Nostromo."
"Warrant officer of the what, ma'am?"
"The Nostromo. It's the cargo ship I work on. We were towing raw ore to Earth from Thedus when the trouble all started. This is Jones."
She held up the pet carrier so Mulder and Scully could see the ginger cat inside. "He's been infected."
"Infected? With what?" Scully asked.
"An alien. That's why I need help."
"Sure, Lieutenant Ripley. We'll be happy to help." Mulder smiled at her.
Scully rolled her eyes.
Ripley put down the pet carrier and held the basketball in both hands.
"Yours I presume?" She raised her eyebrows and tossed the ball to Mulder.
