Forever At War.
A HotaruXNatsume Poem.
I may act a genius,
I may act cold,
But I'm stupid when it comes to love
Or so i'm told.
.
I've always watched from a distance,
I've always cried alone,
I'm constantly making inventions
To hide away from the 'Mikan Drone'
.
I created her out of lonlyness,
Now I use her out of envy,
The real Mikan I force my annoyance too,
For the times I watch her are lengthy.
.
She is the one who sits next to him,
She is the one he longs for,
He is the one to make my cold heart melt..
He is the one that makes me race for the door.
.
I usually escape through the door,
To mask my crying face,
Mikan and I forever fighting for Natsume's heart,
I can not win this race.

Why is it her?
Why must she be the one?
Why can she make him smile?
Why is she his smiling sun?

Questions without answers,
Cruel posion without a cure,
Why was it me...?
My heart he had to lure.

His loving eyes on her,
Makes me shiver to the bone.

But i'm just a poor girl...
Trapped in the hands of fate.
