The blood from the knife that sliced through her coated the concrete sidewalk. It was nighttime, no one would notice until sunrise that there was a person dying at midnight.

As she lay there, it took all of her strength to look up and watch as her perpetrators run away. Not having enough strength, she laid her head back down.

She was all alone. As usual. But she didn't think that she would be alone as she died. Then again she did cut all personal ties with anyone after he died. Yes, Hinata Hyuga will die alone. It seemed like a befitting punishment. She let out a dry chuckle at that comment, but was interrupted by coughing up blood.

"Hinata…"

She warily glanced up at where the voice came from, which suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere. The voice was familiar…

Her eyes widened in surprise at the person who she saw.

"N-Na… Ruto… You're… Sup-p-possed… To be… Dead." She let out in short gasps. Again, not finding enough strength to hold her head up she laid back down.

"Hinata. Oh Hinata. I'm here for you, as always." The blonde haired man looked at her tenderly, his eyes bright with affection.

She smiled bitterly at that and as she reached for his hand she said, "If you were always with me then you wouldn't have died." It was getting harder to breathe, her vision seemed to darken at times. The blood kept on spreading.

Once she finally got to touch his hand, he disappeared.

The whole time that he was "here," it was just her hallucination.

It was as if this was all so bittersweet. She's dying and yet she wants to die. Because the only way to see him again was for her to die.

She felt as if her blood was spilling at a faster rate. Her breaths became shorter and shorter, and her vision was completely faded and dark by now. Until finally she drew her last breath with only one thought.

'I'll see you soon, my love.'
