The mystery of Digletts feet!!
Ok this one took a LOT of random thinking. The answer is DIRT! Wherever a Diglett or Dugtrio goes , even on a solid metal ground they are surrounded by that circle of ground. This ground is their feet. You see the feet are like that because they are used for digging at a lighting fast pace. So digletts have a lot of feet.

Its obvious. Brock is taken to a place where absolutely no girls can be seen. So when Brock is over the whole ' hi im Brock blah blah blah' and talking normally again he magically appears where the others are.
Amazing . Anime magic always has a way of surprising us.
