Hello, my readers. I know it is Easter and I wish all of you a wonderful holiday. I wrote this really early in the morning. Well, here is the birth of Jareth and Sarah's child. There will be at least one more One shot. I'm still waiting for ideas. If you have an idea tell me. I need them. Please⦠I will take an idea I can get, but I should warn you I might not use it, but it doesn't hurt to tell me it.
Oh, this story is entirely in Jareth's point of view.
So enjoy.
Boy or Girl?
The High King of the Unseelie, High Prince of the Seelie, and Goblin King paced in front of his and his wife's bedchamber. Inside he could hear the cursing and screams of his wife.
His pace quickened and finally giving in he walked to the door and knocked. A maid opened it and sighed.
"Your majesty, you can't come in."
"LET HIM IN RIGHT NOW!"
The maid nodded. "Well, if her majesty wishes it."
Jareth smiled at the maid. "I believe she just did."
The maid opened the door and Jareth walked in.
He looked at his and his wife bed. Sarah, his wife, his queen, laid on her back breathing hard. She looked at him and smiled.
Slowly making his way to his wife's side, Jareth relaxed a bit. As he sat beside her, he took hold of her hand.
"I'm not going to ask how you feel."
"Thank you."
After conjuring a damp cloth, Jareth wiped Sarah's forehead.
Seven hours and twenty-three minutes since he had been allowed into the room. Add the two he had paced outside the door before he was allowed to enter. And nothing had happened. Sarah was still in pain. It hurt him to see her in such pain, but every time he frowned, she looked at him and smiled.
"Just remember that after this we'll have a little prince or princess."
Three hours and fifty-seven minutes later, Sarah held a little wrapped bundle in her arms. Jareth smiled at the little Fae in his wife's arms.
"They didn't say if we have a girl or a boy?"
Jareth smiled. "Because I already know. You, Precious, are still learning your powers. You would already know as well."
Sarah looked up at him. "Oh, really?"
"Yes. We have a little princess, Sarah. What should we name her?"
"Kalida."
"Kalida?"
"It means most beautiful."
Jareth thought over the name and then smiled.
"It's prefect." He took his little daughter from his wife. "Our little Kalida."
Sarah smiled. "We can call her Kali, but her official name will be Kalida."
"Kali is a nice nickname among family."
Jareth smiled at his in-laws.
"Welcome, your Majesties."
High Queen Tatiana smiled at her daughter. "I'm sorry I couldn't make it. But your father refused to allow me to leave the meeting."
Oberon only smiled as his wife walked to Jareth.
Tatiana nodded to her granddaughter. "May I?"
Jareth gently handed his daughter to the High Queen.
Tatiana looked down at the little baby in her arms. "Well I wonder what her and eyes will be."
"Oh, Tatiana, you know we won't have to wait long. Maybe a few days at the most."
Tatiana looked at her husband. "Oh, I think you should be more worried about how this little thing will have you wrapped around her finger."
Well there is the birth of Princess Kalida. So review my dear readers. Remember I wrote this in the wee early morning just for you.
So Happy Easter and review.
