Good Parents

Tim McGee sat back on the couch in front of the giant fireplace and wide screen TV at his and his boyfriend's two story home. He propped his feet up on the table in front of him and fixed his shirt over his pregnant belly and smiled. He was seven months along with his and Tony DiNozzo's baby girl and he couldn't wait to meet her.

The snow outside was coming down hard as Tim opened his baby names book and the door opened. Jethro jumped off the couch barking and met Tony at the door. "Hey, boy," Tony greeted brushing the snow off of himself. "You behaving?" Jeth sat down and barked waiting patiently for Tony to pet him.

"Hey," Tim greeted from the couch with a smile. "Cold out?"

"Freezing," Tony said kicking off his shoes and petting Jethro. "Hope you're keeping warm." He smiled heading over to the couch.

Tim nodded. "I am." He pointed to the fireplace and smiled. "I got the fire going." He moved closer to Tony when he sat down and put the book on the other side of him.

Tony grinned wrapping an arm around Tim's shoulders. "I see that." He gave the younger man a kiss on the cheek. "You doing okay?"

"Yeah," Tim smiled laying his head on Tony's shoulder. "Just relaxing. Waiting for you to come back home."

"Well I'm home," Tony kissed Tim's head and adjusted himself sitting sideways. "How's my little girl?" He smiled widely placing his hand flat against Tim's belly. He softly ran his hand across it, making sure he felt for kicks.

"She's good. She missed you," Tim rested his hand on Tony's thigh. "She kicks a lot when you're not around. Seems to know when you're missing."

"Good," Tony bent over and kissed his belly softly. "I miss her, too. Hi in there little princess. Dad's back home. Did you miss me?" He was greeted by happy little kicks and grinned. "I'll take that as a yes."

"You should," Tim ran his fingers through Tony's hair. "She's kicking against my ribs. She's been tossing and turning all day. Probably getting cramped."

"Aww," Tony kissed his boyfriend's belly again. "Are you getting tired of being in there? You wanna come out and meet us?"

Tim smiled. "Not for another three months, Tony. Don't want her early, you know."

"Oh don't worry," Tony smiled and talked to his boyfriend's belly again. "You stay in there okay? Get nice and strong and healthy. Then you can come meet me and Daddy." He paused. "And everyone else."

Tim giggled softly and picked up his baby name book. "You're hilarious."

"I am," Tony grinned laying his head on Tim's shoulder keeping his hand on his belly. "That's what makes you love my DiNozzo charm."

Tim playfully snorted. "Yeah. That's it."

"Hurtful," Tony teased back. "What're you reading?"

"Baby name book. She's due soon and we haven't agreed on anything," Tim flipped through the pages. "I thought I could write some names down and then you could look through and pick some."

Tony nodded. "Sounds good." He smiled and sat up giving Tim a warm, loving kiss. "I love you. A lot. And I'm really happy that we're going to be parents together."

Smiling warmly, Tim leaned his head against Tony's. "So am I. You're going to be a really good dad. I can't wait to see you with her."

"You're going to be a great daddy, too," Tony smiled. "And you're going to do really good having her. I'll be right there, too holding your hand and everything."

"Promise?" Tim looked at him with big, soft green eyes.

Tony smiled and gave his partner another soft kiss on the lips. "I promise, Timmy."
