So, the other day, I got the 8 DVD collection! What was the first thing I did? I watched the last two movies, of course, and this popped into my head during the Godric's Hollow scene. I don't own anything, except the DVDs, and a sweet HP watch;)

He watched as the couple moved through the cemetery. He would normally give those visiting the departed more privacy, especially on Christmas Eve, but something about them seemed to attract his attention.

They were the only ones in the cemetery. Any others who may have visited had come long before the sun had set, and were spending the night with their living family. These two were moving through the darkness. He wondered if maybe, their only family resided in the cemetery.

They passed through the dim light of a streetlamp, and his curiosity increased. Godric's Hollow was a small town, practically a village. He knew the face of every regular visitor, but the couple was strangers. Well, the girl was, at least. The boy held certain features that seemed to be out of a forgotten dream.

They stopped for a few moments at a couple of graves; however, they eventually found what they were looking for. They stood in silence as they looked at the headstone.

He knew who lay under their feet. The Potters. It figured, normally, when strangers showed up, they ended up at the Potter's grave.

The more he looked at them, however, the odder they seemed. They were younger than the typical Potter visitor, and seemed to be more affected; the boy especially.

His head was bowed, and the girl seemed to be comforting him. After a while, she handed something to him, and he placed it on the ground in front of the headstone.

A few seconds later, they walked out of the cemetery.

When they passed back through the light, he realized why the boy seemed eerily familiar.

He had long forgotten that the Potters had a son. He could vaguely remember the bright toddler Mrs. Potter had been bouncing on her hip when they moved in. As he thought about it, he could see the resemblance between the baby and the man in the cemetery.

The fate of the boy had been a major topic in backyard and bar side conversation in the town for years. His body hadn't been found at the house, so, where was he? Eventually, he had faded from their memories.

The man smiled. He guessed the boy had survived.

Good? Let me know. And to those waiting for a 'Friend' update, I'm working on it, and it should be up soon...hopefully.
