"I don't believe we have properly introduced ourselves yet," the Professor smiled kindly at the girl.
After discovering the true secret behind the Golden Apple, Layton and company sat down at Reinhold Manor to discuss what was to happen within the village and its inhabitants. Of course, Flora's needs had to be put first. A well-deserved good night's rest came in second. It was when leaving the Manor for Beatrice's Inn that the Professor turned back at Flora who had been walking them out.
"My name is Hershel Layton. I am a professor of archeology at Gressenheller University," he said, slightly tipping the brim of his top-hat.
Flora smiled, the mark now hidden beneath her right hand. She then turned her attention to the boy next to him. Said boy had been distracted for the moment, and a blushed crawled up his cheeks as he noticed she was waiting for him to say something.
He nervously held onto his bag with both hands. "Hi, I- I'm.." At a loss for even his own name, he slowly turned his head down, looking at his feet. By that time, Lady Dahlia had lost eye on her beloved cat Claudia. Distracting the three of them in the process, she calmly walked past Luke, even brushing her head against his leg for a moment as to make up for any injury she might have caused him during their first encounter. Meddling into their conversation, the white cat meowed loudly, just once. "W-What she just said," Luke now looked up again, signing with his head towards Claudia.
Flora giggled for a moment. "Nice to meet you," she glanced at the Professor for a split second as if to find some reassurance there. "Luke." She wasn't too sure of the way she remembered the name the girl had only heard about twice, of which once when trying to escape from a falling tower. She smiled, however, as he showed a shy and partially embarrassed smile of his own.
