AN: So I was bit by the writing bug recently and am adding a few new stories to my list. I apologize to those reading "Times Three" I'll send and email out tonight to see what's happening with that. As for this story I'd like to dedicate it to my Best Friend because she showed me the song and it's the only het relationship I've ever really written.

Warnings: spoilers for 'Goodbye and Good luck'

Disclaimer: I make no attempt to claim them.

It's been, it's been, it's been, it's been
su-su-such a long time, long time, long time
since anybody touched me, touched me, touched me
the way that you touch me

"I don't even have to turn around…Sara Sidle."

"It's me!"

A call upon an old friend, or so everyone thought, but it was really a call upon an old spark, one never given the time to ignite. The voice from the newly called on brunette touched Grissom's heart like no one else could.

So if I stutter, stutter, stutter
and I feel so so so unsexy
so maybe I'll just keep my mouth shut at least until you kiss me

"Does he talk?"

"At random intervals."

His emotional instability, her uneasy past, yes, a match made in heaven. But how does it feel to love some one so many years younger then you? It's not easy. It's a permanent feeling of insecurity. So he keeps his words choppy. Fear of embarrassing himself with an anxiety cause speech impediment. So he'll keep his mouth closed tight only relaying test results and speaking when necessary. At least that's how it was until she kissed him.

So kiss me again
Cause only you can stop this stut-stut-stut-stuttering

He had to watch her walk away, jaw dropped, eyes wide. He could barely utter her name. No longer did he worry about his speech or words. Only her, and the sight of her brown hair swinging around the corner toward the front entrance of the lab.

Kiss me again
And ease my su-su su-su su-su su-su-su suffering
