Disclaimer: I do not own Lord of the rings in any form (though if I did my life would be much more interesting)

September 22 3021 of the Third Age of Arda

Frodo looked around the Grey havens drinking in his last moments on middle-earth. True he would miss it along with all his friends; but some hurts are just too much for the mortal world to heal alone. He was ready. He kissed Merry, Pippin's and Sam's forehead and said his farewells to them.

"We all knew, I think that this day would come," he said thoughtfully "and now it has come we must say farewell and let it be done" he stepped away from his friends and turned around to board the ship.

"Goodbye Mr. Frodo!" Frodo turned around at Sam's voice and gave a little wave before continuing towards the great white ship. No sooner had he set a foot upon the gangplank all present heard a loud yell.

"AHHHHH! Crap! No what is happening!" a decidedly female voice cried out. With a thump a form landed on the dock. Frodo winced, that couldn't have felt good He thought to himself. The woman, more of a girl really – she couldn't be more than 15 years of age by mortal standards, sat up and looked around her.

"Where am I?" she asked.

"You are in middle-earth my dear" said Gandalf who had come out of the boat's cabin when he heard the noise.

"Oh ha ha," said clearly not believing a word "and I'm a Mary-Sue" everyone who had been in the fellowship winced at this remembering their not so amazing companion "who is going to marry an elf and live happily ever after." She snorted "sooooo not buying that crap."

"I assure you milady, you are in middle-earth." Frodo spoke up.

"Fine, let's take a walk into hypothetical land for a moment," she began "if I'm in middle-earth and from what you look like you're Frodo Baggins" she ignored the startled looks from the people around her "and this is the Grey Havens, at least I assume so because Cirdan is here, Then I must have been thrown into the wrong time frame because aren't all girls throw into middle-earth during the War of the Ring?"

"How did you recognise Cirdan?" Gandalf asked ignoring the fact that she knew about the war of the ring. No one on this earth had completely escaped unscathed from it.

"You see but you do not observe," She said mysteriously. Sh paused "Really Mithrandir how many bearded elves do you know?"

Before anyone could react she was in front of Frodo and pulling him into a tight hug.

"Sorry, fangirl urges –must learn to supress those" She muttered flushing slightly at the stares that she was getting.

"I think your time is nearly up here little one." Galadriel said quietly. She had been observing the scene quietly for a while, not entirely sure what to make of it.

"Yes I think your right Lady Galadriel," she replied "so long suckers!" she cried cheerfully and vanished in a poof of sparkles and rose petals.

"Well that was interesting." Frodo commented before boarding the ship

"What do you think? Enough insanity for them?" Manwë asked his wife.

"Oh leave them alone, dear; it's bad enough you made them endure the quest with one of the most awful creatures imaginable you don't need to tease them anymore." Varda scolded him lightly though she was secretly enjoying their confusion at the random girl he had pulled from earth.
