Zim blinked and peeked around the corner, 'Nothing over there.' He looked the other way. 'Nothing over there.' Grinning wide he stepped out into the open. "VICTORY FOR ZIM!"
CLUNK!
"Or not." Dib snickered as he lifted up the plastic cup allowing Zim to come out from under it.
Zim pouted glaring up at him. "That was not fair!" he dusted himself off and smoothed down his flower dress.
"Oh come on, it was completely fair, It's harder for me to find you then you finding me, you're tiny. I'd say that gave you an advantage."
"But it is harder for Zim to get across the room to the safe point!" he whined flailing as he pointed at a floor lamp the two of them had designated as the safe point for the game of hide and seek.
Dib sighed and slumped down into a chair in from of his desk. "So what do you want me to do about it?"
"Kiss me!"
"W-wha-?" Dib sat back a little confused.
"You heard Zim!" Zim pointed to his face. "Kiss me. I saw those other humans do it on the TV box."
"But Zim, those are people who are in love..."
Zim's antennas drooped. "Don't you love Zim?"
Dib flinched. "T-that's not what I meant. I like you it's just-"
"Just what? Zim is too small? Too tiny for the AMAZING giant Dib!"
"I'm not giant I'm normal sized."
"SILENCE!"
Dib stared at Zim quietly.
"Well?"
"Well what? You told me to be silent."
Zim groaned and flopped down into his matchbox bed. "You tire Zim."
"You tire me." Dib replied rubbing at his eyes.
Zim grumbled and rolled over balling up int he little match box.
Dib smiled and scooped him up in one hand bringing him close. "Good night." he kissed him lightly on the top of the head before laying him back int he tiny box and heading for his own bed next to the desk.
Zim looked shocked then smiled. "Good night Dib."
