Dear Journal, 12/04/10

Today I came to Half- Blood Hill and met many campers. Turns out I'm a demigod! I have no idea what that is… They say it's a mixture, half human, half god. That's so cool, I'm half god!

Apparently we have cabins. I am yet to figure out who my mom is, the one who left me right after I was born. This shall be interesting.

So Long,

Katie Gardner

Dear Journal, 4/08/12

So… it's been a while, huh? Demeter is my mother. I have a friend- slash acquaintance- Travis, who is really annoying. He pulls pranks on me with his brother, Connor.

I haven't been able to write due to adjusting and we are busy all day everyday.

Whoops!

We are in the middle of a war right now… I hope we win. We apparently have a spy, if the rumors are true.

I hope it's not Travis… not like I care!

So Long,

Katie Gardner

Dear Journal, 3/23/13

We won the war. Percy and Annabeth FINALLY got together! We all bet on it. Travis and I are dating. I don't know how it happened, but it did.

Silena was the spy. She died in battle. We all miss her, she died a hero.

I only hope she's with Beckendorf in heaven.

I will miss her and everyone who died in the war.

So Long,

Katie Gardner

My doctor looks over the journal entries one last time while I mess with the hem of my hospital gown.

"Interesting, Miss Gardner." He says simply, looking over his wire glasses.

"It happened." I assure him. "I saw it."

"You know what we do to patients like you, correct?"

I clamp my hands on the dark wood chair.

"No, please!" I beg while two nurses grabs my arms and pull me into the chair.

They strap me down and put the head brace on before walking over to the power box, it sparking with electricity.

They set it on '4' and pull the lever down.

The electricity pulses through my body and I force myself to remember Camp.

Travis, strawberry fields, pranks, war, Silena-

Wait, who's Silena?

Hello, My Lovelies, this is short and Bittersweet. If you couldn't tell, that was a electric chair, my favorite torture item by far!

She lost her memories in the end, if you also couldn't tell.
