"I'm not ready for the new year." Adam says, looking over Mission Creek from the roof of Mr. Davenports home.

"Why?" Chase asks.

"It feels like time is going by to fast, and we are missing out on life." Adam says.

"2016 is unavoidable, it's our future." Chase explains.

"I know, but it's weir to think that we can never go back to this year. That this will forever be in our past, and I'm not ready to let go of this year yet. I'm not ready to be one year older, I'm not ready to watch time slip between my fingers. Chase, I'm not ready." Adam explains.

"I understand, but the only thing we can do is live in the moment and enjoy the time we have now. Time doesn't stop for humans, much less bionic humans." Chase says.

"What if we could pause time right now, and live in 2015 forever?" Adam asks.

Chase doesn't immediately answer, he pauses to think for a few moments, "Then we won't have to face the terrifying unknown that is the future," Chase passes, "But then we wouldn't get to see the amazing things the future holds and the new experiences and memories we will make."

Adam smiles, "Thanks Chase."

Chase looks to his older bother, "Why?"

"For always knowing the right thing to say." Adam says.

Before Chase could question Adam any further Bree steps onto the roof, "Come on guys, Leo wants us all together for some weird tradition he's trying to start."

Chase gets up and walks toward Bree.

Adam's watch says 11:59 p.m., in less then a minute it will be a new year and they can never go back to this one.

"Farewell 2015." Adam whispers into the wind.

A/N 2015 has been a big year for me and I'm terrified of the new year.
