By this point Happy and Toby had a set routine. Gracie was easy to get up in the morning. Toby would pick her up from the crib and take her to Happy. Happy sat in bed, watching the news while Toby showered. He would be dried and hand everything below the waste on by the time Gracie was done eating breakfast. He would grab a burp cloth and burp Gracie while Happy got showered and dressed. He threw on a shirt after cleaning himself of baby vomit. They finished up their morning routine and head to the garage.

"Turn left up here. Where's Your blinker, Doc?!" Happy told Toby over the sound of their baby that was 3 months old that was crying in the back seat.

Their little girl hated riding in the car. She would cry all the way to wherever they went. She was an easy baby. She went to bed easily and wasn't a big cryier except for in the car.

Toby flipped the blinker on. "It's on now. You get so agitated when when she cries in the car."

"She always cries in the car."

"Exactly. Our car rides used to be peaceful and she will probably grow out of it."

Toby took the left and they came up to a red light. Once the light turned green. As the passed the intersection, with them having the right of way. A car slammed into the the back end of their car.

Toby tried to keep on the road. And the they found themselves to on the side of the road of the road. For the first time they found comfort in hearing Gracie's cries.

"You alright?!" Toby asked.

"My head hurts. My leg. You okay?"

"Shaken up." He gets out of the car and to the baby's door.

Toby quickly unbuckles her and takes her into his looks Gracie over. She seems fine and is obviously crying a lot. Once Gracie starts to calm a little, he took a look around. The person that hit them had kept driving. He released a deep sigh. He opened Happy's door and she turns before wincing.

"My leg is definitely hurt, Doc."

"Okay can you hold her and I'm gonna lift the glove box off your leg."

She holds Gracie and Toby lifts the fallen glove box and Happy moves her leg. She tries to stay quiet so that she doesn't have to let Gracie hear her. Once it's out, Toby drops down to examine her injuries of her leg.

"It's sprained." Toby sighs.

He stands when he hears the ambulance and police sirens. Gracie is holding tight to her mother, because she hates loud sounds. Happy kisses her baby's head.

Once at the hospital the Doctor wraps Happy's ankle and Toby checks it because he never trusts other doctors. The team is out in the waiting area with Gracie. She didn't know what was going on. It was nearly her lunch time and Happy was still breastfeeding her. Gracie was getting hungry and the team knew that Gracie would have to wait to get her lunch.

Happy was feeling a little achy and full in her chest. Toby could tell. He knew her well. She was put on crutches and once in the shotgun of Cabe's SUV Toby was reluctant to let Happy feed Gracie in the car. Cabe pulled over while Happy had Gracie's blanket across her chest and Gracie underneath the blanket, eating her late lunch.

Happy hands Gracie the Cabe and he turns around giving her to Toby and he puts her into the car seat. Happy fixes her shirt and passes the blanket to Toby. They go back to the garage and get a late start to their work day.
