This is miscellaneous information for two upcoming stories, more the first then the second though even though a character asks in the second story
Portland was going over files with a cadet when they asked her a question she never thought she would be asked
"Portland just what are you required to know as a Starfleet Sentinel?"
"Well I know several character languages and while I have to know a few others I decided to learn simply because they interested me"
"What languages do you know?"
"I know Basic, Huttese, Bocce, Romulan, Vulcan, Bajoran, Cardassian, Commoners sign language, Federation sign language and military sign language, and that's for both here and the Republic. I also have to know several Jedi Codes. Those codes and their meanings are Queen Amidala which means a Jedi is undercover, Clone Wars which means there is major fighting going on either galaxy wide or sometimes planet wide, Anakin Skywalker which means a Jedi has turned into a Sith either willingly or unwillingly, order 66 which means someone has called for the extermination of the Jedi and Death Star which means there's a big enemy base and that base can either be in space or on a planet that doesn't matter what does is the size. I also have natural sedatives I have to be careful of, those are Chamomile, almonds and poppy"
"What happens if you forget the information or someone has something to do with what you know and they don't?"
"Well let's hope I never forget for one thing and for another there's a reason why if it's from the Republic a Jedi or Sentinel is required to be there"
