Matt looked up slightly from his games as the door opened, then winced slightly hearing it slam shut. Pausing his game he sat up and looked at the chocolate loving blond, who was leaning against the door. "Hey Mels, what did Roger wanna talk to you about?" Matt asked pulling his goggles down around his neck."L's dead... T-that bastard.. he wanted me to work with that albino freak... I-I-I'm leaving Wammy's Matt.. I can't so anything here. I can't do anything always being below that stupid sheep!" Mello ran a hand through his hair roughly, and sighing loudly. "L-leaving? Mels, what do you mean leaving?" Matt's eyes went wide as he stood and made his way over to his friend.
The blond looked up at him sympathetically and raised a hand to Matt's face, " I'm not making a difference here, and once you leave find me... But for now, help me pack the things I need." Tears gathered in Matt's eyes, "Mels don't leave please. you are making a difference..." "Damn it Matt if you're just going to try and stop get the fuck out of here. I'm leaving and it's not your damned choice!" Mello sntched his hand away from Matt's face and glared at him pissed off now. Matt shoved mello out from in front of their door and opened it running out.
Matt ran tears streaming down his face, he ended up outside at the fence around the orphanage. He heard a soft shuffling behind him, but ignored it not caring about anything or anyone else. "Matt?" Beyond's familiar voice reached him. A soft wimper was his only indication of hearing. Matt noticing he still had his PSP in his hand carelessly shoved it in his front left pocket. A few seconds later strong arms wrapped around him from behind along with a bittersweet scent of strawberry jam. "BB..." Matt mumbled sobbing slightly. "what's wrong Matt?" Beyond asked holding him tightly to his chest his fore hear resting on Matt's sholder."Mels is leaving me, Beyond he's fucking leaving!" Matt growled.
Beyond's red eyes looked at Matt and he turned him aound pressing him slightly against the fence, "If he is leaving you then he isn't good enough for you. Your perfect Matt, and I don't understand how Mello can give you up." Beyond raised his hand and cradle Matt's cheek in it making him look at him. " I'll stay with you.. for as long as you want me to." Matt looked at him and nodded. "Alright Beyond... But when the time comes to leave here myself will you help me find him?" Beyond nodded, "Anything for you Matt, because.. I love you. " Beyond hugged him and kissed him lightly on the forehead. He turned and walked away leaving a stunned Matt backed against the bars of the fence, that now would become his prison.
