23 year old Isabella Garcia-Shapiro was sitting on the roof of her dorm, when she heard the door creak open behind her. She spun around to see her boyfriend, 23 year old Phineas Flynn, standing in the doorway with two cups of hot cocoa, his hands full as he tried to shut the door.
"Thanks, Phin." Isabella said, taking a cup from his hand, and shutting the door for him.
"It's New Year's Eve, why aren't you downstairs, with your roommates?" Izzy shrugged, and Phineas nodded, sitting down beside her, setting down the steaming hot cup of hot chocolate.
"You know, it's almost midnight,and there's a tradition of kissing someone at midnight." Izzy rolled her eyes at Phineas' attempts to make up for last year, when they'd both been too busy to even say Happy New Year to each other.
"Yeah, but I'm kinda tired." She yawned to show how tired she was, and he laughed, playfully shoving her.
"Okay, I think you've proved your point!" Phineas exclaimed, as Izzy tickled him.
"Five, four, three, two, one, Happy New Year!" Izzy and Phineas kissed, and the ball dropped.
"I had one more thing to ask you." Phineas got down on one knee, and pulled out a box from his pocket.
"Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" He opened the box, and held up the ring.
"Yes!" Izzy laughed as he sighed a sigh of relief, and slid the ring onto her finger. She pulled him up off his knee, and kissed him, wrapping her arms around his neck, and stayed there, just like that, for minutes, until Phineas broke the kiss, gasping for air, while Isabella just laughed at his reaction.
"Happy New Year, Iz." Phineas said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as they sat back down.
"Happy New Year, Phineas." Izzy leaned into the half hug, and laid her head down on her fiancé's shoulder.
Okay... I admit, that was short, but I had very little time to work on it, sorry. I have a few announcements.
1. I will post Chapter Twelve of Truth Or Dare! With Phineas and Ferb, and other characters on Saturday, I'm sorry if you have been waiting, I've had writers block, so it's taken a while for me to figure out what to do.
2. Happy New Year! It is at the moment 12:24 as I'm writing this authors note.
3. I have a new story coming out soon, and will do my best to fix whatever happened to chapter two of A Cahill Family Reunion, With A Twist?. Sorry for the weird coded chapter, I'm working on fixing it right now.
