All he has are Memories of times they once used to have. Fond memories of times they once shared….. He can feel the past creeping up on him just it does on her. He knows that the love they shared is still there.. yet whenever she appears she just takes him for a ride.. Or is it him that does that?
The game that they play has blinded him from his ability to see clearly. To see who is at fault, in his heart he knows that it's him… that it's her… that it's both their fault… they played this game to many times. That memories start to clash and blur.
He can't tell if his emotions are true or he just wants to fill the void in his heart… he wants to relive the memories of nights they shared. Nights he longed to live forever. He can't just forget it… he can't erase it. He tried to live without thinking of her. But all the things around him remind him of the past… Past memories of her loving embrace…
She won't come back to him…. She won't allow them to relive in past memories… not after all the damage they've been through. He knows that for sure… He sees it in her eyes each time they land on him. The pain he's put her through.
At least all he wants to tell her that he still cares about her. That even if the affair didn't last. It's the best of his memories he holds dear in his heart. He wants to tell her that he needs her in his life… but he can't... escape the memories… whether they are pleasant or not… he will never be free...
