Aradia had been searching the dream bubbles for hours. She was trying to find Dave, they had spoken a few times before, and she wanted to again. Having recently spent a few minutes talking to a dead version of Vriska, who irritated the hell out of her, she was ready to spend time with someone she actually enjoyed being around.

The right bubble was eventually found. She was inside of Dave's room. "Hey, Aradia. I was waiting for you," Dave was sitting on the edge of his bed. Just like the last time Aradia visited him, his shades were present on his face and his expression was unreadable.

Aradia looked at him curiously. "You knew I was coming?" She smiled to herself, so he had been thinking about her, at least a little bit. She took a small step forward towards Dave.

"Of course I knew you were coming. You always come. That's pretty much the thing that I always count on you doing," Dave stood up from the bed and casually walked over to Aradia, he smiled at her. "I like hanging out with you in these dream bubbles. You're seriously chill. You're chiller than a frozen dinner."

A slight blush formed on Aradia's cheeks, she hoped that Dave wouldn't notice. "Hey, that kind of rhymed. You should turn it into a rap," she laughed. Listening to Dave rap was something she hadn't done nearly enough of in the time she spent with him.

"Oh cool. I didn't even notice," he paused for a moment to think of a few lines, after that he would improvise. "You're chiller than a frozen dinner, it's lean cuisine so it'll make you thinner, it doesn't really matter, I like you just the way you are already, this might sound crazy, but maybe we could go steady," at that point, he stopped rapping, as if he was waiting for an answer.

Aradia wasn't sure if he was making an ironic joke or something, but she smiled like an idiot, anyway. Her cheeks were colored a dark maroon color, and she tried to read Dave's expression. His shades hid any blush that would be showing on his face, but his ears were bright red. He was serious. Aradia's smile only grew.

"I mean, only if that's a thing you want to do. We don't have to, or anything," He scratched the back of his neck with one hand and shoved the other in the pocket of his jeans.

"Shut up, you dork," Aradia brought a hand up to cup his face, pulling him into a quick kiss. When they separated, she looked at his glasses, trying to see through them. She wanted to be able to read him clearly.

Dave smirked. "I'm not a dork! …Is that a yes?"

Aradia nodded. "Yes you are! And you could say that…"

"What do you mean?" He looked at her suspiciously.

"It's only a yes if you take these off," she reached for his glasses and pulled them off before he had a chance to protest. She tossed them onto his bed, so he wouldn't be able to grab them from her hand. Then, she turned back to him and looked into his eyes.

"The only reason I'm not going to kill you for that is that I like you," Dave complained.

Aradia smiled. "I like them," she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in for another kiss.

Dave gently returned her kiss, resting his hands on her waist. His hands were warm. Aradia brought one hand up to play with his soft hair. She ran her fingers through it while they kissed.

"By the way, I'm totally not a dork," Dave said as he pulled his lips from hers.

"You definitely are," Aradia laughed.

She continued to laugh, and eventually, Dave joined her. "I guess I kind of am," they laughed together for a while before calming down, until one of them said something else that was funny and they burst out laughing all over again.
