Warnings: Spoilers throught Tokyo arc,. Some brief language, hint of kurofai,

So yeah… this is my first tsubasa fic, and I just had to do it on the relationship between kurogane and fai, my fav characters.

Tokyo

He had always hated the blondes carefree attitude towards, well, everthing. He couldn't understand why he treated his name so casually, using so many different nicknames, and never his real one. He hated it because it seemed like a blatent disrespect towards him. The mage never did anything like that with the kids.

But seeing the mage throw himself into the fight to aide Syaoran and then come out horrifically maimed, made his heart unexpectadly wrench. He asked that witch for a way to save him, not caring for the price. Of course, Fai protested, proclaiming that bullshit, that his life was not worth saving.

He saved it anyways, causing both of their lives to be entertwined forever. Essentially Fai's life was held in his hands, or more specifically, his blood.

He thought that after the mage woke up, life would continue as normal. Saving his life was worth it, just so he could see those silly grins and idiotic expressions. Come to think of it, when did they stop bothering him? Probably when he thought he would never see them again. Then, he realized, the nicknames were not disrespectful, but somewhat affectionate, putting him in the position of the closest person to Fai.

All of a sudden, the sleeping mage stirred, waking up from his transformation. His remaining eye opened, flashing gold, and then returning to its original blue. He slowly sat up, fixing his gaze on his savior. The just looked at each other for a moment. He braced himself for the use of whatever nickname the mage thought of this time.

Finally Fai spoke, saying those three words that shattered his world.

"Good morning, Kurogane,"

How stupid had he been. Life would never continue as it had. Tokyo changed everything.

So, just a one-page one-shot about Kurogane's take on the Tokyo events. Hope you liked it. Please leave a review, because they make my day.
