OK everyone, I haven't posted in a really, really, REALLY long time so I kinda sorta lost touch.. well anyway, no bothering about that because now it's STORY TIME! This is my first ROTG fanfic so I'm a little new.. constructive criticism can just walk through my door.. :)

Disclaimer: I (sadly) don't own Rise of the Guardians. It all belongs to the great Dreamworks and William Joyce.

It was December. Christmas was about two weeks away and Jamie was having the worst time of his life

Since the time the older kids found out that Jamie still believed in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the sandman, the Easter Bunny and some weird guy named Jack Frost, they had been tormenting him.

"Hey lover boy! Think fast!" one of the older boys taunted as threw a snowball at Jamie. But coincidentally, a certain white-haired teenager with striking blue eyes and a mischievous smile just happened to fly past. Jack Frost, noticing that something was wrong, flew in front of his best friend, just in time to stop the snow ball from hitting Jamie squarely on the nose. Instead, it came to a halt just inches from Jack's face. Then it launched itself backward and hit one of the boys on the chest.

"Jack!" Jamie cried. Jack just smiled and put a finger to his lips. Then, crouching down, he began to write a message in the snow:

This is the spirit of Jack Frost. You cannot see me, but you can sense my presence. I torture people who annoy me or hurt the people I love. Now, just to be clear, Jamie is like my brother. If you touch even a hair on his head, I will hunt you down and haunt you in your dreams forever. will never spare you. Ever. Understand?

He had written all this in front of the bullies, so it looked like there actually was a ghost writing the message. The bullies stared at the message for a full minute, their mouths open and eyes as round as coins. Jack rolled his eyes and glanced at Jamie. He seemed to have great difficulty in keeping a straight face.

To teach these kids one more lesson, Jack launched a volley of snowballs at the kids. Then, as a grand finale, he casually slammed his staff against the snow. It formed beautiful snowflake patterns against the ground, causing the boys to scream like girls and run as if their lives depended on it. Both Jack and Jamie dissolved into laughter.

"That'll teach them," Jamie said, practically shaking with laughter. "Yeah," Jack agreed, clutching his sides. "this is something you don't see very often."

After they finally regained control of themselves (which took an age), Jamie looked up at Jack. "Thanks a lot, Jack. You really helped me." "No problem kiddo. You know I'll- we'll always be there for you. Jack laughed, referring to the other guardians. "And next time you're having fun, please remember to call me. I would have killed you if I had missed this." he added, getting down on one knee and hugging Jamie. "See you tomorrow." Jack took off into the sky and towards the North Pole.

But unknown to Jamie, even Jack, someone was hidden in the bushes, watching the whole scene. "Looks like Frostbite'll never learn." Bunny muttered to himself, but as he tapped his foot to open a tunnel to the Warren, the faintest of the smiles played on the Easter Bunny's lips Now that's why you never mess with a winter spirit. Not that Bunny listened to that anyway..

A/N: So guys, how was it? Hopefully, not a waste of your time. Anyway, thanks for reading. I'm pretty sure you guys are bored of this, but R&R please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
