PROLOGUE
It's the year 10xx where a meteor shower brought strange metals to earth. The 'Nation's' chief; Tuchitan the Seventh (The Tuchitans were there even before villages were brought about, which is weird because they were majorly guys...) proclaimed across the land that a new race of creatures would be born from the metals. A local blacksmith took some of the metal from a meteorite and started hammering it into some 'card' shapes.
He was never seen again.
In the morning, his wife, prepared to give her husband an earful for not coming home the night before, went to his 'smithing hut, only to see a wreck.
She was never seen after that as well.
The people were getting afraid, mostly because these happenings were well... happening all over the place. So they sought the advice of Tuchitan again.
Pleased that people were actually following his advice for once rather than usually doing whatever they wanted to, he proclaimed that the remaining metals had to be heated until red-hot on top of a tall mountain.
The strongest warrior in all the land; Karokion, volunteered to do the deed.
He was- well, you know the drill.
Finally, Tuchitan himself went up there with some of the metal and set it alight with sparks made from it.
Seven days later, he came back with a new belief, stories and creatures. They were called...
