She was now Asakura Anna. She was now Shaman Queen, what she always wanted. She had an easy life and a good husband. What more can she ask for? Everyone thought she was happy. Even she herself thought she was. But every night when she was alone, she would cry. Cry until there were no more tears left. She didn't know why, but deep down inside, she knew she was unhappy. It felt as though she was empty inside, like something was missing.
Two years have past, and those two years were horrible. Crying wasn't anything new to her since then. She would stare out at the stars as tears flowed freely from her eyes. She would bite her bottom lip to stop her tears from coming but they did.
Today, the stars were brighter then any other day. She couldn't help but stare at their beauty. She sat on the sand as tears flowed down her rosy cheeks. She could remember before the Shaman Tournament. She often sat there looking up at the stars and sitting beside her was the one and only, Yoh.
Yoh… The word echoed in her mind. That name…so familiar but at the same time distant. It had been two years since she had heard the name. Two years since she had seen his carefree smile, his innocent face. More tears flowed at the thought of this person. He was the only person she really loved.
Loved…Funny word. Even though she loved him, she acted like she didn't care. She didn't even say good-bye when he left for the Shaman tournament. She didn't say good-bye when he left.. forever.
She shook her head as she desperately tried to get him off her mind. She reminded herself that she was married to Hao.
Hao… He was the one that killed Yoh. The one she loved. And she was married to him. Sure, he has changed and had regretted his actions, but did she really love him? No half of her said. She could never love anyone other then Yoh. Yes the other half said. You wouldn't have married him if you didn't. She didn't know the answer. Was he just a replacement for Yoh or did she really love him?
