Lavish gardens with rows of artistically cut bushes, mazes, flowers with their own unique aromas and delicate ladies on the arms of fine men walked the paths. Gilded halls and exquisite meals for the king and his wife, dressed in fine jewels and only the most luxurious silks from the East. Gossip and tall tales of these "Enlightenment ideas" flitted through the halls, danced between painted lips and chassed across velvet drapes. Money to them was no problem at all in the palace.
Outside the iron gates and stone walls, it was darker. The cobblestone streets were damp and void of life and the buildings were falling apart at the seams. The citizens of France, on the other hand, were shaking with anger and hunger. Grains were getting harder and harder to come by, and they had no say in the government whatsoever. With each pearl purchased by their royalty and nobility, they were getting colder and hungrier. Our story starts here, in 1789 when the Old Regime ruled and two souls from two social classes would clash.
Phew glad I at least got this out! I've had this eating my brain for a long time!
This story will be posted slowly and off and on, so don't expect updates right away. This is just a dull idea I got. If you like it then say something
