Goldie skipped down the walkway, happily making her way to the beach. But as she finally made it, the sight made her freeze up.
Tara, Angus, Amelia and Pudge were bickering. Goldie knew it was wrong to eavesdrop, yet she hid behind a nearby coconut tree.
"I think I should get Angus, and Amelia can have Pudge" Goldie heard Tara state.
"No. I think I should get Amelia, and YOU can have Pudge" Angus countered. Goldie winced at his harsh tone. What was going on?
"I think Tara's right, for once" Amelia retorted, and she shoved Angus into the sand.
"Hey! Don't hurt him!" Tara cried, and she shoved Amelia into the sand, next to Angus.
"Stop!" Goldie suddenly cried, jumping out from behind the tree. The four bickering friends looked at her in shock.
"I don't know WHAT this is about, but please, just STOP! You're all friends!" she wailed. Amelia stood, dusting herself off.
"Yes, we were. But that was before I found out Tara was stealing Pudge away from me!" she cried, pointing accusingly at the human.
"I didn't FORCE him to fall for me!" Tara responded angrily. She shoved Amelia into the sand again. She then began to kick sand onto the poor girl.
"Please, stop..." Goldie whispered, but she knew it was futile. She turned and ran all the way back to her home, leaving the terrifying fight to heal itself.
"You BITCH! Stop that right now!" Angus shouted. He shoved Tara down, and she plopped into the water.
"ASSHOLE! No wonder Amelia doesn't love you!" Tara suddenly shouted. She stood, her dress soaked through. She grabbed Pudge's arm and stuck her tongue out at Angus, before marching off, dragging the very confused Pudge with her.
Angus and Amelia sat for a moment in awkward silence.
"What the hell just happened?" Amelia finally said. Angus sighed, sitting down.
"I have no clue. This is one messed up love square" he simply responded.
Short? Yes. Terrible? Maybe. NO FLAMES!
