Disclaimer: I own nothing that is GW- 'cept for this poem
I'm sorry
I'm empty inside
I've given up on me
Why don't you give up too
The gun that's in my hand
A symbol of my loss
The love of my life sees me
But he probably will never notice me
I'm silent
pain racking my insides
Does it echo in his head too
Does he know
And does he even care
I've forgotten what it is to cry
And I know that tears are part of it
I've seen it before
But I don't know what it means
Please tell me what it is to care
What it is to be full
of something other than blackness
What it is to look inside yourself and see something there
Tell me what it is to cry
Blood spills from my eyes
I was pretty sure that salt tears were supposed
To flow
I'm sick and tired of hiding all the pain that
Somehow I've left behind
My love once tried to find his way underneath my shell
He never managed to get very far
I've forgotten what it is to cry
And I know that tears are part of it
I've seen it before
But I don't know what it means
Please tell me what it is to care
What it is to be full
of something other than blackness
What it is to look inside yourself and see something there
Tell me what it is to cry
I've forgotten why I stopped to watch him
Or why I never said what I should have
And why I never turned around
I've forgotten what it is to cry
And I know that tears are part of it
I've seen it before
But I don't know what it means
Please tell me what it is to care
What it is to be full
of something other than blackness
What it is to look inside yourself and see something there
Tell me what it is to cry
And now I'm starting to remember again...
