There Were Times.

AU: Random Sam's POV: One-Shot, but may spawn a multi-chap at some stage. More repetition. Slight suggestive sentences. We all like to forget sometimes, but what happens if we can't? Please review xox

There were times she could forget the mess she had made of her life. Well at least the personal part of her life, after all being a Detective Inspector wasn't exactly a failure in the career stakes, but her personal life was nothing but a mess.

There were times she could forget how close she had come to relationships that were lasting, and meaningful. But each time they had ended and she had wound up alone once more.

There were times she could forget that four weeks ago, she had rung that department, asking for help, without a second thought as to who might answer it, and perhaps she could even forget his voice on the other end of the phone.

There were times she could forget going out with him, to catch up, to thank him for his departments information on her suspect.

There were times she could forget that she had drunk too much, as had he, and then they had kissed, as if almost by accident, but then it wasn't the second time or the third.

There were times she could forget that they had ended up in bed together again, his hands running all over her body, knowing where and when to touch her, effortless in nature.

There were times she could forget the feelings of his hands wrapped around her, the familiarity of his body next to hers, the passion of his kisses.

There were times she could forget the feeling of the two of them moving as one, the ecstasy as their clammy bodies fell into rhythm, before they were calm and still.

There were times she could forget the night she spent wrapped in his arms, the kiss he had dropped on her head, when he thought she was asleep.

There were times she could forget the awkward breakfast that the two of them had shared, and how she had left not knowing what happened next.

There were times she could forget that neither of them had called the other, her knowing that she didn't know what to say, that nothing had really changed between them, and that she had no explanation for what had happened.

There were times that she could forget that yesterday morning she had lost her breakfast in the bin of her office, and then her lunch, and then her dinner when she eventually arrived home.

There were times she could forget going to the chemist on her way to work this morning, and buying a pregnancy test.

There were times she could forget the shock she felt as two lines instead of one appeared, five minutes ago.

And then there were the times that she couldn't forget, this moment being one of them. In the toilets of Sun Hill Police Station, Samantha Nixon would never be able to forget, that she was pregnant again, and that a tiny baby half hers and half his was inside of her, and now she would never be able to forget anything to do with him ever again.

Review?? If there is a good response, or people think I should continue then I will write a multi-chap, probably called Inevitable xox
