Andromeda Tonks did not except to walk into the room at see her husband, Edward, or Ted, balancing on a ladder, holding a painting, some nails and a hammer.
"Ted, what are you doing?" she asked, taking a deep breath, "And more importantly, why?"
He turned to look at his wife, falling slightly,"I thought this room needed some livening up, so I decided to hang up some art."
"That is very nice of you, Ted, but why aren't you using a permanent sticking charm?"
"Good idea." He put down the tools, grabbed his wand, casted the charm on the painting, and placed it on the wall.
"So, you're going to go to the store and return these tools?"
"Yeah." Ted climbed down from the ladder. "But can we keep the ladder?"
"Hm, why?" Andromeda started to walk toward her husband.
"Allow me to be a bit cheesy for a moment."
"Go ahead."
"The two sides of ladder coming together represent us coming together in our relationship and," He paused.
"And?"
"And how you can reach new heights with a ladder, now we'll be able to reach new heights together with this relationship."
"Which means?" By now, she was right in front of him.
"Which means what, Dromeda?"
"It means that this ladder is ours." She said, and then kissed him.
A/N: This is my first time writing these characters (despite the fact I really like these two), so this story is not the best (It's probably better than my old stories though.) And the ending of this story isn't very good.
And I'm not sorry for the pun in the summary.
I don't have anything else to say, so bye.
