Chapter 1,

Just my Luck

Kikamaru POV

Just my luck. Another day of old timer Iruka going on and on about basic techniques. I mean really, the Henge no Jutsu? I learned that move when I was 4! Well anyways after class was a short break, Lunch. I took a seat towards the end of the room keeping alone, Mikaru wasn't here today and all of these other idiots were just stupid, not even funny. And so I sat there. I ate my rice in silence, moms food was nasty, just nasty. So we had our own chef, and she wasn't a bad one either. Being the son of the legendary Hyuuga Neji wasn't easy though. I was always talked about and judged. People looked at me and saw a genius, but I couldn't care less. I knew I'd never live up to dads reputation, but I could I'd come close as hell. My father, Hyuuga Neji was an ANBU elite. Always out on missions, I had no idea why mom put up with it. Her name was Tenten, she refused to tell me her last name. But she was a weapons expert, the best in Konoha. And though dad didn't have time to train me, she did. And yes, I did have the best aim in the Konoha Ninja Academy.

Mayuko POV

Another day, another stalker. Today wasn't the first. I sat at lunch eating with my friends, Miu and Keau. He walked over sweating. I didn't reconginize him, I think it was Nara Shuka but I couldn't tell. He had spiked black hair, and his father Shikamaru's lazy eyes, except blue. He stood at 4 feet nine. We were only 10, and and he was one of the taller kids. He wore a red shirt with the words "Konoha's Laziest". And those filthy black pants he'd been wearing for days. "Hey Mayuko" he said to me tapping my shoulder. I had pretended to ignore him, but my friends were laughing. I finally turned my head "What do you want?". That was when I was filled with embarrassment. He handed me a paper swan, and a note and said "Uchiha Mayuko, will you be mine?". Oh god I was more embarrassed then ever! Then I read the note..."Mayuko of the springs, Mayuko of the hills, Mayuko, of the daphodiles!". I stared at him coldly. "Why would I date you loser?" I replied. I feel bad now...but he had deserved it! And I think I caught Hyuuga Kikamaru looking at me while he ate too...why doesn't someone like him ask me out! Then at least I could say yes! He has that long black hair to his neck, those amazing white eyes that pale skin, and hes so tall...oh I'm in love!

Jun POV

Bleh! What else is there to say? I got dirt all over my favorite sandals. My cousin was bugging me all day "Oh Jun! When is your dad going to realize my true power! Oh Jun! When is your dad going to make me a Genin! Oh Jun! Oh Juuuun!". Its soooo annoying being the daughter of the Kazekage. You just want to tear your hair out. Everyone thinks that just because your father is the Kazekage that you can get them whatever they want! Sheesh. And moms just a weirdo. Turns out the only reason dad married her was for her land, an alliance marriage. I was the little accident...I wasn't even supposed to be born! Sheesh, my cousin Kurro blames me. If I hadn't been born he would have become the Kazekage. What a jackass. But at least dad thinks I'm somewhat skilled...

He says I have to train though. He says he won't let some guy named Naruto beat him. I'm supposed to beat his son..hell I can barely manage a good Bunshin! But I have my secret technique...
