AN: Well, I know I should be updating my other stories, but this'll have to do for now.

I don't even know why I wrote this. I was beginning to write a one-shot about Ino from Naruto, and this just came out. I don't even like Misa. I think she's annoying.

So, I couldn't write a one-shot, so here is six little drabbles centering around Misa.

Drabble One

Misa Amane, contrary to Light Yagami's belief, is not stupid. Just childish.

She sees the signs and knows what they mean. Light Yagami does not love her. But she can't help but cling desperately to her dream. She is Misa Amane; it isn't possible that her dream won't come true. Princess Misa, beautiful Princess Misa, will win the heart of the charming and wonderful Prince Light.

Misa knows that this will happen, yet she knows that it won't.

Drabble Two

Light is God. Gods don't have time for silly things like true love

Misa wishes with all her heart that it wasn't like that, but she knows that if Light wasn't God, she never would've loved him in the first place.

Drabble Three

Light may be a God, but Misa is an actress. He cannot surpass her in that department, at least. As an actress, she knows all about lies. She can never be reeled in by his lies, no matter how much she would like to be. But she pretends, just to make him happy, which is all she wants.

Funny thing is, he- the genius -never notices her- the ditzy blonde –lies. He is just like everyone else, believing what he wants to believe.

He may be brilliant, but he is still human. Even with god-like powers, he is human.

Drabble Four

There is one thing that Misa wishes for more than Light's love. And it is that she had never loved him.

Whoever said "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" was wrong. Even if she hadn't lost anything, as she had never had it in the first place, she bet it felt a hell of a lot better to never have loved him in the first place.

All her beautiful dreams of a fairytale love had died.

Yes, she would be the Goddess to Light's God, but what would that matter if he did not love her? To Misa, love was the most important thing of all. Gods and Goddesses may be the most powerful, but they did not live happily ever after, and they did not love.

Drabble Five

Misa hated love. It did terrible things to people, and it never lasts forever, no matter what people say.

Love is ugly and evil.

Many people thought that the opposite of love was hate, but Misa knew it was not so. The opposite of love is happiness.

Drabble Six

Misa wasn't selfish.

She never wanted Light near any other girls, not because she was jealous, but because she didn't want their hearts broken like hers.

It wasn't that Light couldn't love her, she was sure he couldn't love anyone.

She pitied him, but she still pitied herself more.

AN: So, how was it? My first Death Note fic, and my first serious attempt at angst.
