I'm a Survivor

Summary: Ryou/Bakura Ryou tries to survive after Yugi and Yami send Bakura to the shadow realm. But can he?

It has been over one week since the Pharaoh Atemu and Thief King Bakura have gone to their resting places. Their lights will never be the same.

Yugi had become distant from everyone, including Téa and Joey. He wasn't his usual carefree, happy self. He was always in isolation, prefering to be alone.

Ryou himself was pretty much the same as Yugi. Nobody knew it, not even Bakura, but the albino hikari loved his yami more than anything, and would give anything to have him back once again.

Yugi loved Atemu as well, with all of his heart. He didn't the chance to tell him though before he left for the afterlife. It was crushing him inside.

Ryou had actually thought about cutting himself many times. Suicide. At least it was a way to be with Bakura. But that's not what his yami would have wanted for him...

...his yami, no matter how much he denied it, would've wanted him to be happy.

So that's what he tried to do.

But so far, it didn't look it was going so well.

You know the old saying "Love Hurts"? Or the song? It fits perfectly for these two hikaris, who have lost their yamis...

...their loved ones.
