His
Foot
steps echo in a dark, wet hallway
While heavy rain pours outside
A
flash of lightning before a rush of thunder
She
runs from it all
No longer being able to stand the painful love He
gives
Black tears run down her face
Tainted by the makeup He
makes her wear
Her mind repeats the things He has said that sound
so sweet, so loving
She cannot take it
Her
feet ache, her throat raw from the screams she know won't help
her
Replaying, over and over, the nightmares He forces her to
live
She falls to the ground, her feet not able to run anymore
She
tells herself to get up and continue, for if she doesn't, He will
surely find her.
Sinister whispers tell her otherwise
You
are His, He will always find you. There is no place to hide, no place
far enough to run. You
are His. He owns you. You are His.
She
screams until her throat bleeds
The scratches and cuts just
beginning to heal, break open again
Blood is pouring out of her,
staining her dark green dress
The one He bought her
The one He
said made her look even more beautiful
Tears continue to fall,
tears tainted red with the mixed in blood.
The tears sting her
cuts
But she does not feel it
She doesn't feel the physical
pain anymore.
Too preoccupied with the whispers
You
are His
She tries to get up, but she falls
Her ankle is sprained
The whispers don't stop, she can't take it
You are His. He owns you. You are His.
She scratches at her arms, screaming still
You are His.
She feels nothing
All she hears is the whispers
He will find you. You are His. He will always find you.
She tries to drag herself down the hallway
Her damaged body getting cut up more
You are His
She coughs up the blood in her throat
The only thing clean of blood and tears is a silver ring
The one He gave her so everyone would know who she belonged to
You are His
The tears fall more rapidly as she tries to pull it off
She is going insane
She hears calm footsteps behind her, and she knows he enjoys her descent into insanity
Her heart seems to stop before it speeds up more
It is Him. He has found her, just like the whispers told her
She can feel Him moving closer
You are His
She
knows it's pointless to struggle as He picks her up, Getting blood
all over his pristine white dress shirt
He doesn't care, He has
many
She is blinded by the tears but she feels His smirk as He
takes in her pain
Like a demon, He enjoys it
"You
are Mine," He whispers into her ear
She knows she will never
escape Him
She is His, in life and death
He will always find
her
She will never be rid of him
"You are Mine"
She
is His
