~Seven
Long Years ~
I look out my window
The
raindrops are my tears
Hiding
from the darkness
I
wish I were strong-
But
I'm not.
All
I do is run
Never
face up
The
scars on my arms, my face
They
prove.
Drunk
and angry
He
storms down the hall
My
tears stream down my face
Once
clean, once whole
Thin
lines of red
It
now beholds.
Oh,
my hero!
How
I wish you were here!
Wish
you had stayed…
Seven
long years
How
have we changed?
I,
once a child,
Bursting
with energy
Excitement
for the world
Now
nothing.
A
shell, hidden soul.
How
have you changed, fairy boy?
You're
now a man, probably out in the world.
I'm
stuck.
Can't
leave.
Because
of…him.
I
won't take it!
That
man has stolen the ranch, served the King!
No,
he is no King!
He
is pure evil, never will reign as a true king!
I'll
take it no more!
Smashing
the window
I
run for me, my fairy boy.
Calling
my horse
Climbing
up
The
rain soaks my hair, my face.
It
becomes a river, I the riverbed.
The
thunder, Farore.
And
the striking lightning is Din.
Nayru
embraces me, keeps me warm,
But
never as much as that fairy boy…
Wanting
to ride, I stay.
Epona
won't move.
I
call to her, tap with the reins.
When
I hear a calm voice from behind.
"Please,
please don't be afraid.
He'll
get to you no more.
I
promise it, swear on my life."
I
turned around, only to see
The
fairy boy, from seven long years ago.
Now
grown, a handsome young man.
His
eyes still blazing with courage.
Carefully
I dismounted,
Stepping
onto the sodden ground
Standing,
staring, an eternity
Until
he made a sound.
"Seven
years ago, in that market,
Your
eyes a perfect blue,
I
knew from the start, in my heart,
I
started loving you."
Too
amazed to speak.
Only actions would be right
I
took the fairy boy in my arms
And
kissed him on that night.

I
wrote this poem in 5 minutes, so review however you want! Yes, some parts
rhymed, some didn't. And yes, I know it was long! Probably the longest thing I
ever wrote! The only reason I wrote this was, well, Malon has always been hidden,
in my opinion. Everyone's always like "Link and Zelda, Link and Zelda." Malon's
the flower that blooms unnoticed, but Zelda's always the center of attention.
Well, hope you liked, and PLEASE review! There are never enough reviews for
poetry!!!!!!!
Poetry Rulez!
