Shining eyes
once bright and blue
now dim and dark
staring back at you.

Baby blues,
once filled with joy,
now all is silenced
behind the shell of this boy.

His eyes
the windows to his soul
but through them we are blind
himself he cannot control.

Those eyes of his
so dark and full
they keep you near
at your heart they pull.
