Authors Note: Just a bit of a drabble really. It would be amazing if you leave a little comment if read this. ETA: I originally wrote this for the readers to have their own take on why they were in the boat, etc. However, when I was writing it, I went off some props that I had set for myself which were 'Boat', 'Sunrise' and 'Haven', so I really liked the idea of the two of them just sailing where ever the sea took them. But thinking about it in a AU perspective, I'd like to think that they set out for a bit of an adventure. 3

The stormy weather had stilled as the dark night sky started to streak with pink and palest of green, showing signs of an early sunrise. Castiel looked down at Dean sleeping steadily in the boat beside him, his chest rising and falling in an even beat as the waves of the sea bashed against the wooden sides.

Castiel wasn't quite sure how long they had been travelling like this for; days, maybe weeks. Either way, he didn't mind so long as he had Dean by his side. He took the plaid blanket from underneath him and placed it over Dean, securing a gentle kiss to his forehead.

Castiel smiled, tracing his slender fingers along Dean's cheekbone and down to his soft lips. Looking back up to the sky, he saw how it was becoming lighter in places, glacier blue breaking through the pink in haphazard streaks, making the green look more vivid. He was sure that if Dean was awake, his eyes would tear down even the most beautiful of skies.

It was in that moment that Castiel realised nothing in this world would ever outshine Dean Winchester. He was singularly the most beautiful thing Castiel had ever set his eyes on. And he was his. They were an infinite entity, and nothing nature could ever throw at them would tear them apart.

Because Dean was Castiel's haven, and he would follow him into the darkest depths of Earth if it meant that he was by his side every step of the way.
