I Loved You
Hovering over the river of lava Darth Vader and Obi-wan Kenobi battle it out. A fight between good and bad becomes more intense by the second. Ashes are constantly raining down on them. Obi-wan was utilizing every bit of his Jedi skills to hold off the more powerful Sith lord. The fight had been fairly even for the most part, yet Vader had no intention of slowing down or giving up while Obi-wan struggled to keep up. Moments later, the fighting stopped and Obi-wan could only stare in to the eyes of his former friend and apprentice in disappointment.
"I have failed you, Anakin. I have failed you."
"I should have known the Jedi were plotting to take over!" He was completely blind to the truth. Vader had been brain washed to the point of no return. Convincing him would be impossible.
"Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine, is evil!"
"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!"
"Then you are lost!"
The hovering devices separated briefly to avoid an object. As they come back together they can only stare each other down. On one side Obi-wan would finally accept the inevitable reality that his former student is now a product of the dark side, and on the other Vader can only think about how to eliminate his enemy not having any emotional attachment whatsoever.
"This is the end for you my master." Vader instantly leaped in to the air landing in front of Obi-wan almost losing his balance. The battle continues for a few moments until their light sabers lock in a stale mate. Obi-wan finds an escape, flipping through the air to safety. Now, having the advantage he looks down on Vader knowing his chances of winning the fight have increased.
"It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground."
"You under estimate my power!"
"Don't try it." Shortly after Anakin leaped in to the air screaming at the top of his lungs. As he was about to land in front of Obi-wan he swung his light saber at Vader, cutting his legs and one of his arms off. Vader fell from the sky helplessly. He slid down the bunk, getting closer to the lava the more he struggled to come after Obi-wan. Laying on the ground in agonizing pain his eyes become red and teary. His former master retracted his light saber knowing he was no longer in danger. Standing above Vader once again he was more then positive that he was going to die.
"You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith not join them...bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness!" The heart break was unbearable. It was too painful to stand and watch his former best friend die. He turned around and picked up Vader's lightsaber, but turns around again almost immediately.
"I hate you!" The relationship between Anakin and his master was over. It was time to give Anakin a final fair well.
"You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you!" Soon after, he slid down the slope just enough to catch fire from the flowing lava. The fire ignited and covered his whole body within a matter of seconds. Trying his best not to look, he was disguised with himself. He couldn't help but feel he was responsible for what's happened. Looking back at his best friend screaming from the fire blanketing him from head to toe. He just couldn't take it anymore. Swallowing hard, he turned around once again and headed back for the ship. It took every ounce of energy to not go back him.
