Chapter I

Just Moved In

I'm sitting in a cold place near the window. I'm still sleepy, because it is still early. Suddenly I bumped on a soft pillow in front of me. I saw someone waving at us from outside. His face is unfamiliar but I think I know why he is there.

"Maybe it's the head carpenter who built our house" I whispered.

"Kouro, come down already everyone's outside now." My mom told me.

"Okaa-san can't you see she's on her own world again with her Grade School Crush, Kevin" my brother teased me.

"No way, he's not even my crush." I said while I'm going down.

We went inside the house with the man which seems to be the head carpenter. There are only few furniture and only one appliance, the fridge.

"Looks like we need some shopping" Dad said.

"Now?" Kairi asked.

"No maybe later honey, your Dad needs to fix some things. Why don't you go to your room first?" Mom explained and suggested.

I and my brother both went up. He was the one who got inside first because he is always excited and very childish! I went inside my room and looked around. I thought about the things that I will in my room.

"I think I should put my bed here, then a table there."I babbled

I just babbled for almost an hour, in my room and inside the bathroom of mine. I went down to get the car keys and opened our car. I wore my favourite bag inside the car. Then, I went out the garage to breathe fresh air.

"Hey!" I heard someone saying this from the other side of the fence.

"Umm... Hi" I replied

"So you're our new neighbour."

"Hai!"

"You speak Japanese!"

"Yup why is there a problem? And besides I'm half Japanese"

"Souka"

"Kouro!" Mom called me.

"Oh, sorry my mom called me I got to go"

"Uhhh... Can we talk later."

"Sure, ja ne!"

"Ja ne"

I ran to our garage and I saw Mom and Dad getting ready to ride our car. The one that too excited is already inside the car.

"So you found yourself a new friend." Mom said

"And a future boyfriend" my brother interrupted.

"No way!" I shouted.
