"Hotaruuu!" Mikan burst into the Class B classroom to hug her best friend, only to be hit by a baka gun shortly after. The class sweat dropped. Mikan has been doing this for 4 years, but she still hasn't learned. Before long, Luca Nogi and Natsume Hyuuga came in. Natsume calmly sat down next to the bubbly 14-year-old brunette. "Morning, Natsume!" she greeted eagerly, interrupting him from his manga. "Morning, Hearts," he nonchalantly replied. It took her a full 30 seconds to comprehend what he meant. "HENTAI!" she screamed.
After class, Natsume leaned against his beloved Sakura Tree, taking a nap. "Where is she?" the thought disrupted his slumber. He tried to go back to sleep, but he was wide awake now. He decided to go find her.
Mikan was about to go to the Sakura Tree, when she saw Natsume sleeping. She then recalled she was to go get some howalons from Luca. Her mouth watered at the thought of sweet, fluffy, succulent howalon that melts in your mouth. She ran off to find Luca. After a while, she found him in a secluded area hidden by trees where people usually go for peace and quiet. "Luca-pyon! Do you have my howalons?" Mikan basically tackled the poor blond. "Um, yes, I h- have them," he answered. "Well? When are you gonna give them to me? Hand 'em over, boy!" she good-naturedly said. Her nose was practically touching his. "Um, Sak- Mikan, I c-can't with you holding on to me like that." He stuttered. Mikan quickly released him, anticipating her favorite sweet. Luca handed her the box of howalons, and Mikan squeezed him in some sort of hug. "Here, you can have one," Mikan fed Luca a howalon.
Natsume was seething with rage. His Mikan was dating his best friend, Luca? She saw her lovingly look at him, and embrace him in an affectionate hug, kiss him, then fed him howalons. But Luca was Natsume's best friend. He should be happy for him. Disappointed, he walked back to his room.
The next day, Luca asked Natsume's help for something shocking. He wanted Natsume's help to hook up with Hotaru Imai. Natsume was disgusted and appalled. Luca was going to cheat on the sweet and warm Mikan with the cold Ice Queen? "Dude, how could you do that to Mikan?" Natsume couldn't believe it. His soft best friend since young: a player. "What are you talking about?" Luca was puzzled. "I saw you with Mikan yesterday. Hugging, kissing, feeding each other howalons!" Natsume listed what he had seen. "Oh, you thought…" Luca burst into laughter. Natsume was getting annoyed. "What's so funny?"
After hearing the explanation of what happened, Natsume mentally face palmed. That's what he gets for assuming. That girl makes him do weird things. He ran off to Mikan's room, ignoring the looks he got from the girls. He knocked on the door frantically, Mikan opened the door. "What?" she asked him, "You knocked like 47 times, Natsume," Mikan said, and it was clear she was annoyed. He pulled her into a hug. "From now on, you're my girlfriend. Okay?" Before she could respond, he kissed her. Mikan was shocked, but she shrugged and kissed him back. When they pulled apart for air, Mikan asked him what made him decide to do this. "Howalon," he said. He then added, "Teddy Bears." In 25 seconds, the entire Girls Dorm heard, "HENTAI!"
