I saw Katniss in town today, walking to the Hob. She was with Gale, of course. I could barely look at her. We haven't spoken since we got bak from the Games, and I'm guessing that she hasn't heard about my relationship with Claire yet. Claire has been awesome these past 6 months, and she's super understanding about me having to keep our relationship a secret, in order to keep up appearences with katniss, especially during the Victory Tour. We have agreed that today will be our lst date, the last time we talk, and then our relationship will just be a foggy memory that we will hold dear for the rest of our lives.
I walked into the meadow to meet Claire. When she finally showed up and saw me, she ran up and gave me a huge kiss. She whispered in my ear 'I'm going to miss you Bread Boy'. I kissed her for the last time, and then she ran away. I turned around, and caught a glimpse of Katniss in the woods, and I knew that she had seen everything that had just happened.
