Hello, I'm Wildgirl6 and this is the prologue to Future girl Cassiopeia, a story set before the future is wild.

My name is Cassiopeia Gaia, and what I'm about to tell you is all too true to believe.
10,000 years in the future, in the year 12,000 A.D., an event known as the "next great ice age" has came and freezed the Earth in a thick blanket of white and at this point in time, the human race is facing extinction, along with other species that won't adapt or even survive to the ever growing ice age.
In this era, the best of scientists, including my father, Linussania, came to solve the problem, but it seems the only logical solution seems to be relocation to another habitable era by time-travel vehicles. At first, unmanned probes were sent out to explore three different eras, 5, 100, and 200 millions years, in the far future as well as to test the technology. But, without the systems to fully explores the environments in each of the three eras, they build the time flyer, a time-traversing aircraft, to explore them with human supervision.
I was chosen for this mission, and thus the fate of humankind rests in me.
