Mystery of the Honmaru

A few centuries ago, the Honmaru was built specifically as not only a temple but for thefighting tournaments that took place in that building. Although the Honmaru was a place of both a temple and where fights were
sanctioned for a yearly tournament in the summer, one fight took place underneath the brutal confines in the prison of the Honmaru. Two rivals, one an ancestor from the Mishima clan and the other an unnamed man
from an unknown clan fought to the death as they settled their dispute over who was the best fighter from Japan. In the end, the ancestor from the Mishima clan was victorious over his rival as he towered over his
semi-lifeless body. The Mishima ancestor threw his bloodied and heavily injured rival into a prison cell. As he drew his last breath, the unknown rival told the Mishima ancestor "When your current descendent visits this
place, he will have me to do battle with in both mind, body, and spirit". And with that saying, the rival laid limp in his prison cell as the Mishima ancestor looked on and left the Honmaru. Many centuries passed since
that timely and fatal battle but a new member of the Mishima clan even though his last name is Kazama would enter the Honmaru, not knowing of the danger that would wait for him all thanks to angry rival who has waited for the chance to face a Mishima descendent…until now.

The summer had come and Jin Kazama couldn't be more relieved than anyone. He had just won his 2nd King of the Iron Fist Tournament and was on his way to meet up with some of the competitors that he met and
some he faced including his rival, Hwoarang. "There he is" said Hwoarang in a sarcastic tone. Jin just sighed as Steve Fox, Eddy Gordo, Christie Monteiro, Forrest Law, Julia Chang, Lili Rochefort, Leo Kilesen, Asuka
Kazama, and especially Ling Xiaoyu also greeted him. Xiaoyu jumped up and hugged Jin to the point he was almost blue in the face. "Okay, okay, you're squeezing me" said Jin. "Okay, everyone wants to know what
you've won after the Iron Fist Tournament" said Hwoarang. "I think I won some sort of building that resembles a temple" said Jin. "What does it look like" asked Leo. "A very tall looking temple" said Jin as he looked
at the photo of what the building look like. "You mean that one all the way at the end of the block" asked Xiaoyu. Jin looked up and saw the building right before his eyes "Jackpot" said Hwoarang as he pointed
towards the tall pagoda-looking building. "Let's all head there now" said Lili. The nine fighters raced to where the Honmaru was located as Jin simply walked to where it was. As he walked towards the Honmaru he had felt a wave of uneasiness come over him. "Something isn't right about this" he said to himself. Jin began to jog in order to catch up with the rest of his friends.
