A/N: Was in my head and wouldn't leave me alone.

Caffeine High

The students of Hogwarts sat at their tables, some chatting eagerly with their friends, while others barely stopped their heads from falling in the plate of food. Such was a normal morning at Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The doors suddenly slammed open to show a completely terrified James Potter, his hair more mess then usual and his clothes very rumpled. He stopped in the doorway, unaware that everyone was staring at him in confusion, and bounced on his feet, shaking his hands as he looked around.

'Gotta hide… Gotta hide…' he kept repeating.

His eyes landed on the Head Table and he took of towards it, vaulting over it when he reached it and hide behind the Headmasters chair, still oblivious to the odd looks he was receiving.

The students turned to the doorway when they heard shouts.

'Goddammit Padfoot! Get back here!' they heard someone shout from outside the hall.

Suddenly a blur of black flew into the Hall and jumped on the Gryffindor table, stopped and moving its arms, as if it was imitating a chicken.

The student body and professors recognized the form immediately. Sirius Black stood on the table, wearing only a black pair of boxers, his hair rumpled and a hyper look in his eyes.

A frantic looking Remus Lupin appeared in the doorway and slowly approached the table.

'Okay Padfoot, I need you to get down and I'll take you back to the dorms to get you dressed, okay?' Remus said slowly, as if talking to a small child.

Sirius looked at him for a moment for shouting, 'SHAN'T,' and jumping from the Gryffindor table to the one beside it.

He started flapping his arms like a chicken again and said, 'I be the TigerChik! Hear me roar!'

He let out a sound that sounded like a crossed between a chicken's sound and a roar of a tiger before taking off out of the Hall again; an angry and tired Remus Lupin hot on his heals.

'Goddammit Potter! I'm going to kill you for giving him caffeine of a morning!' Remus shouted as he chased after a caffeine high Black.

From behind the Headmaster's chair, James rocked back and forth with his knees pulled up to his chest.

'I'm dead… I'm dead…' he kept repeating, wincing when he heard the tell-tale sound of a suit of armour crashing and the angered howl of his werewolf friend. 'Oh I am so dead.'
