AN: I've never written a fan poem, so I'm not sure where this one came from. It wanted to be written though, so here it is. I will stress it's not supposed to be in Anakin's voice, really. It's just supposed to be his thoughts/feelings. We've all heard Anakin's version of sweet talking. If this was in Anakin's voice, it would probably be something like, "I hate sand, I want to hold your hand, I love you man...d" Anyhoo, enjoy.

Fates locked, fused together
I thought there nothing I couldn't weather
yet that was when I was with you
I knew this battle was far from won
that there was so much yet to be done
but still I wished I were with you
Time now seems to distort
my days so long, my nights too short
no time, no time to dream of you
I know not how many days I've left
how long I leave you, my love, bereft
and so I wish I was with you
I will end war, I will end death
have power over every beat and breath
then you will always be with me
