Well, I'm just hoping I got this formatting right, because the doc manager was being a b**** to me when I was trying to space out the stanzas for this poem, so I know I got that wrong... By the way, this is the first poem I've submitted here, as well as my first TNBC fic in general. And it's about Oogie Boogie, my favorite character from the film, if not my favorite Disney villain of all time. But I mainly wrote this out of boredom, plus I just wanted to write for a new fandom for once. So, yeah. That's just the gist of it.

I Am The Shadow In The Moon At Night
I am the shadow in the moon at night,
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright.
I am the one watching you sleep,
My nightmares making you eep.
I laugh and you awake,
At all the creepy sounds I make!
Startled, you go back to sleep,
As I continue to make you weep.
You dream your sweet, sweet dreams,
While I just look on, creating nightmares with my seams.
Afraid, you leave your room,
Knowing that I will be your ultimate doom.
You tell your parents to be aware,
Only to their realization, I'm never there.
So they just pat your head,
As I watch them put you back to bed;
Shut the door,
As I realize that you can't take this anymore.
You're shivering now, ain't that a shame.
But this is my favorite kind of game!
So dream on child, dream those dreams.
As I create even more nightmares with my seams.
Sleep on to your heart's content,
And wonder to yourself where I went.
But just know this child, that the shadow in the moon at night...
Will always be me, filling you with fright.
