Reputation

He had a terrible reputation, he was known as a ladies man. At first he had hated the label and was determined to fight it. Charlie knew his mother would hate to hear him tarred with this label but through time he tired of fighting it and wasting his energy on something so pointless. He simply accepted it.
From time to time he even reveled in the bad boy image he had created for himself. However that all changed the moment he met her again. She had grew up from the last time that he saw her all those years ago. Gabrielle had finally stepped out of her sister's shadow.
She had grown to be beautiful and he found her breathtaking. She didn't recognize him at first but when she realised who he was, she smiled at shyly. The smile lit up her gorgeous dark blue eyes. Ever since that day he had been unnerved by her presence here.
At first he had tried to ignore her going about his life like normal and being polite when they were thrown together unexpectedly. Then Charlie realised that he was not indifferent to her at all. He had attempted all his usual lines on her and all of them failed. She didn't seem to be getting his message and he considered himself a master at this.
Most of the times she was cool during his attempts to woo her almost cold towards him. Charlie had wracked his brains for weeks trying to come up with a different approach. Gabrielle was certainly making him work for her company.
His bad boy reputation meant nothing to her and he knew now that Gabrielle wanted more from him than his usual halfhearted attempts. She would be no easy conquest and she was determined to make him show that he was worthy of her and spending time with her. Charlie was more than up for the challenge and he wasn't going to back down from the fight.
