"Sugu… You're all good right?" I look at my sister, a twinkle in my eye. "Your in game name will be Leafa, right?"
"Of course! You shouldn't even have to ask.," Suguha locks eyes with me and nods. She puts on her Nervegear. I smile as we both lay down on opposite sides of my bed. We've been waiting for this game to come out for months now. We've followed every bit of social media even pertaining to Sword Art Online, but somehow neither of us got chosen to be in the beta.
I lay my head down and look up at the display. I hear Sugu mutter, "One more minute. Then we're in. This is going to change our lives."
"I hope you're right," I whisper. Little did I know how wrong I was going to wish she was. As the clock turned to 12:00, I uttered the two words that I've been anxious to say for months. The two words that would send me into a whole new world, a world with love, wonder, and fighting. A world I would one day conquer. Me. Asuna Yuuki. Finally able to log on with the words, "Link… START!"
