Once upon a time, there was a young girl who got the idea to write a fan-
fiction. She went to the store, bought a little black notebook for $.75,
and sat down at her desk and began to write. Wherever she went she carried
her infamous black notebook with her, just in case inspiration struck,
pouring her heart and soul into the story. And then, she finished it, spent
hours upon hours typing it up, waiting for reviews by her computer.
A year later, the girl picked up her black notebook, long since forgotten. Blowing the dust from its tattered, time-worn cover, she sat down and began to read.
She hated what she found there. That's what happened, basically. I started writing Life as a Greaser when I was 14, finished right after I turned 15, and simply left it at that. I sort of started a sequel, but only got maybe 5 chapters into it before I simply gave up. Well, after a lot of drama in my life, I've returned to Fan- fiction, and now I'm picking up the terrible pieces I left behind before. ( NEW DISCLAIMER FOR LIFE AS A GREASER:
The title, "Life as a Greaser" was thought up by me, with the help of Angel Marquin (Pixie Moon Angel) and Jade West (Take A Picture). This title is in no way owned by S.E. Hinton.
However – S.E. Hinton DOES own the book "The Oustiders", and its story line, as well as the following characters: Dallas Winston, Ponyboy Curtis, Sodapop Curtis, Darry Curtis, Keith "Two- Bit" Matthews, Steve Randall, Tim Shepard, Curly Shepard, and Johnny Cade.
