"What about Henry?"
"Eh…" Spencer Reid said as he spooned another mouthful of cereal into his mouth.

"Eh, what?" JJ said looking up from the baby name book she was reading on the couch. "It's a nice name."
"It is a nice name," Spence admitted, "but I don't think I could name my kid after a serial killer."

"A serial killer?" JJ asked as she scrunched her nose.
"Henry Lee Lucas was convicted of killing 11 people, but confessed to killing about 360 to 600 people, including his own mother."

JJ grimaced and looked down at her bulging belly. "Okay, so Henry, Lee, and Lucas are all off the table…"

Reid nodded and became occupied with his cereal as the room went silent. He took another spoonful and glanced at JJ who was deep in concentration, looking at the name book.

"What about Jeffree?"
Reid shook his head no. "Jeffrey Dahmer."

JJ bit her lip and went back to her search. Soon she came up with another name. "David?"
"David Berkowitz."

"Robert?"
"Robert John Bardo," he replied, his mouth full of Frosted Flakes.

"John?"
"John List, John Wayne Gacy."

"Dennis?"
"Dennis Rader, the BTK Killer."

"Theodore?"
"Ted Bundy."

"Uh!" JJ exclaimed. "How are we gonna find a name when all the normal ones were taken by serial killers?"
Reid set his now empty cereal bowl down and sat next to his girlfriend on the couch. He chuckled.

"JJ, I'm sure there are many other names that we can think of that don't have any connections to serial killers or criminals that we know of in general."

JJ sighed, but then nodded. "Okay, how about we look for girl's names?" Reid nodded and she flipped to the girl section of the book.

"Amelia," JJ said pointing to a name in the book. "That's a nice name." Spencer didn't say anything and JJ turned her head to look at his expression. He was biting his lip. "What?" she asked.

"Amelia Dyer."

JJ rolled her eyes and groaned. "Another serial killer?" Reid nodded. "You know that Hotch and Hailey named Jack, Jack, right? Jack the Ripper and all that. Maybe we can just overlook it like they did."

Reid gave her a dubious look and she relented. "Or maybe you should just tell me names that aren't a serial killer's name."

Spencer tilted his head and JJ could tell that he was thinking it over. "Okay."
"Here," she said handing the book over to him. "If you find a name that you like and it isn't a serial killer's name, let me know."

Reid started to read through the book in his genius way, while JJ made her way over to the kitchen. By the time she had gotten her cup of juice, Spencer already had some names.

"Brian."
"Brian Litrell."

Reid looked at JJ in confusion. "A serial killer I didn't know about?"
"No, something much worse," JJ said in mock seriousness that Reid didn't pick up on. "A Backstreet Boy."

JJ giggled, but the look on Spencer's face didn't change. She smiled. "A Backstreet Boy, Spence. He was a member of a boy band called the Backstreet Boys."

She watched as his face changed from confusion to realization. "Oh," he said. "Yeah, okay."
JJ giggled again. "Sometimes, Spence, I swear you're from a different planet."

"Okay, so no Backstreet Boys and no serial killers. How many Backstreet Boys were there and what were their names?"

JJ laughed. "Spence, I'm just teasing. I wouldn't be opposed to naming our child just because it's a Backstreet Boy name. I actually really like the name Nicholas."

"Nicholas? They had a Backstreet Boy named Nicholas? That seems like an unpopular stage name to keep."
"Nickolas Carter, sweetie. His nickname was Nick."

Spencer nodded and went back to the book. JJ just smiled and kissed his cheek as she snuggled up next to him on the couch.
