Vortex
Going back in time
Through the vortex in my mind
Memories fading slowly
These voices trying to control me
Locked up in a box, paralyzed
Unmoving, unbending,
Unchanging, unending.
Going crazy with lack of sleep,
I'm going crazy won't you come with me?
I've been trapped for too long
I forget right & wrong
Time stops moving
Days fade,
I lose track of what I'm doing
The voices finally leave
I'm finally at peace
There are people crying
& Good-byeing
I'm confused
What'd they lose?
I look inside,
This box seems so familiar
Is that my hand?
I can't remember
This face, that nose, these eyes
All mine?
Falling back to Earth
Now knowing my worth
Nothing but a corpse
This dream became so warped...
